the First International Conference (Stray Paws Awareness) was held over the weekend 24th-25th June 2017 at the Ionian Centre for the Arts and Culture Metaxata, Kefalonia Greece.

  Intensive Controls have recently been launched by the Police in Kefalonia. Car blockades in Argostoli and other parts on the island have been intensified, especially in the harsh hours, in an effort to locate all kinds of offenders. 

A humane and moving ceremony,was held by the British Community living in Kefalonia in commemoration of the 8-year-old Saffie Rose Roussos, who lost  her life in a terrorist strike in Manchester on May 23rd. 

 Unfortunately,some swimming pool owners in Kefalonia do not consider the damage that is caused to the environment and the local tourist industry,by their bad habit of spilling  pool water in the streets.
