Eptanisa ferry connection: Starts in May - The first ship information
The competition for the promotion of the company has passed its final stages, and its current mission is to take over the subsidized connection of the Ionian Islands.

The Corfu JOY CRUISES has a total fleet of 7 ships, making local itineraries in and around Corfu. The ship to be operated is called AZIMUT and has a total capacity of 200 passengers during the summer months (May - October) and 100 passengers during the winter (November - April).
It belongs to the category of high speed boats and can travel a maximum speed of 22 knots, depending on the prevailing weather conditions. Subsidized routes will typically start on May 1st, while the plan is to maintain them on a full-time basis. As we learn, tourism agencies on all islands are interested in organizing vacation packages that will appeal both to visitors and island residents.
The new coastal link is expected to be a stimulating factor in tourism as it will allow for a swifter transition to the Ionian Islands.
