For 29th consecutive year, Kefalonia Gym Festival "Anna Pollatou" will take place on the beautiful island of Kefalonia

The Kefalonia Gym Festival is one of the most popular international "Gymnastics For All" events in Greece and Europe.

It is always held at the end of June,it lasts 4 days and the sports performances take place in three different parts of the island, Lixouri, Frangata and Argostoli.

Following the idea and philosophy of Gymnastics For All, the Festival is non-competitive and is addressed to every single person without discrimination.
People from different parts of the world, of all ages, are united by their love for Gymnastics and enjoy their participation in this great celebration without any winners or losers.

The organiser of the Festival is the Athletic Gymnastics Club "Eptanisa" of Kefalonia, which has accomplished great achivements both in local and national level.
The most distinguishing of all is that of Olympian winner Anna Pollatou.
Anna Pollatou was an athlete of the AGM. And for this reason, the organisation bears her honorable name, after her unexpected and untimely loss, three years ago in a car accident.

The co-organisers of the Festival are the Ionian Islands Prefecture, the Municipality of Kefalonia and the Public Enterprise of the Municipality of Kefalonia, while the event is under the auspices of the Hellenic Gymnastics Federation.

This great celebration attracts thousands of athletes every year as it enables competitors to combine their participation in a major sporting event with holidays.

This year's 29th Kefalonia Gym Festival "Anna Pollatou" will be held from June 28th to July 3rd 2017 and preparations have already been made with success.
About 1500 athletes will participate in this great sporting event and they all will be hosted on our island.
The entrance for the public is free all days of the Festival.
